GrassRootsAfrica, representing Women Environmental Programme and Women2030, attended Regional Consultation Meeting for Africa Major Groups and Stakeholders Prior to the 16th African Ministerial Conference on Environment( AMCEN-United Nations Environment Programme) in Gabon. The meeting gave an opportunity to African civil society representatives and other actors like women, youth, indigenous peoples and smallholder farmers – to discuss emerging global perspectives and actions on climate change and the implications of the Paris Agreement for Africa as well as the SDGs and Agenda 2063.
